📋 Description

• Hire, train, grow, and manage a team of Solutions Architects for Databricks • Drive customer success and provide substantial business value through Databricks • Maintain a robust hiring pipeline • Establish relationships across the business to support customers and the team • Partner with sales leadership to achieve sales and consumption targets while ensuring customer success • Keep Solutions Architects current on the Data + AI technology stack through continuous learning • Lead technical pre-sales activities including qualification, proofs of concept, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations • Influence and review complex architectures and guide teams and customers toward scalable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and enabling pre-sales professionals • 7+ years of experience in the Data + AI space with a technical product, such as data warehousing, big data, data science, machine learning, or AI • Deep technical understanding of the impact Data + AI can drive within various industry segments • Technical competence to earn the trust of Engineering talent and leadership • Trusted advisor to technical executives guiding strategic data infrastructure decisions • Experience with technical qualification, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations • Experience hiring, ramping, promoting, and managing performance of pre-sales professionals • Experience fostering relationships between Field Engineering, Sales, and internal partners • Experience working with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success • Demonstrated architectural influence and ability to review complex architectures • Must comply with applicable U.S. export-control requirements; employer may decline to proceed if a government license is not pursued or obtained
