📋 Description

• Oversee how AI model outputs affect the quality of content produced by Dataminr’s AI platform • Work with product managers and business teams to define performance requirements for Deep Learning and Machine Learning models • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver state-of-the-art AI solutions at scale • Define and track model quality, cost, and end-to-end business performance metrics • Modify model workflows, evaluations, and outputs hands-on • Lead engineers and scientists and direct technical approach changes • Focus on context and end-user impact to deliver practical, high-impact solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering • At least 7 years of industry experience as a software engineer in a cloud-native environment • Experience with AWS and Kubernetes • At least 5 years of experience leading software engineers in an AI team • Experience with deep learning frameworks, LLMs, agent harnesses, and compound AI systems • Experience with PyTorch, Langfuse, LangGraph, Weaviate, and A2A • Hands-on experience developing and deploying Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and LLM systems at large scale in NLP, CV, IR, or a related field, preferably in a real-time setting • Track record of driving and delivering multiple complex AI projects • Excellent communication skills • Deep understanding of research stages and end-to-end technology integration
