📋 Description

• Define and lead the engineering function for internally-facing platforms powering lead-to-cash workflows, billing, revenue enablement, and shared platform services • Build, grow, and lead a team of software engineers, engineering managers, and technical leads, owning hiring, growth, performance, and technical standards • Set engineering standards and technology direction, including development practices, architecture, quality, testing, repository management, and technical debt • Own shared platform services such as enterprise authentication delivered to other product teams • Ensure fit-for-purpose delivery, production readiness, and avoidance of future rework • Partner with product, architecture, security, and compliance teams in cross-functional pods delivering Order-to-Cash and Lead-to-Contract outcomes • Advise teams and pods on architecture, trade-offs, and design • Champion software solutions, processes, and standards that improve quality over time

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience • Several years of leadership experience, ideally including leading through other managers • Experience building custom applications and managing SaaS solutions • Production software development experience and ability to read and reason about code and system design • Experience defining and executing systems-level architectural and technology vision • Working fluency in order management, billing, revenue, or related commercial and financial-systems domains • Experience owning internally-facing platforms and/or shared services consumed by other engineering teams • Experience leading in a matrixed, pod-based model • Experience in healthcare, financial services, or another highly regulated field • Ability to make difficult decisions and communicate trade-offs quickly • Strong organization, reliability, planning, and executive communication skills • Bonus: experience with revenue-enabling or lead-to-cash systems, or shared platform capabilities such as authentication or identity • Must be eligible to work without employment sponsorship
