📋 Description

• Guide new Registered Nurses through a structured onboarding program during their first 3–6 months • Provide ongoing support, coaching, and mentorship to support confidence and retention • Serve as a primary resource and role model for professional behavior • Reinforce clinical workflows, documentation standards, and escalation protocols • Develop and deliver educational materials and training sessions focused on evidence-based CKD/ESKD care • Use simulation-based learning, case study analysis, teach-back methods, and direct observation to develop new RNs’ clinical skills • Coach RNs on root cause analysis, symptom identification, and patient-centered care plans • Own and interpret clinical dashboards and performance reviews • Track onboarding metrics including clinical foundations assessments, teammate readiness, retention, and time-to-proficiency • Assess coaching progress using tools such as the RN Scorecard • Collaborate with Clinical Services Managers and the auditing team to identify learning gaps and create development plans • Partner with CSMs, Clinical Coaches, and IKC leaders to ensure a supportive onboarding experience • Foster communication between new RNs and pod members, including NPs, Care Coordinators, and nephrologists • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to support comprehensive care coordination

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse • Strong background managing patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End-Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) • Experience in coaching, mentoring, precepting, or training clinical professionals highly preferred • Experience working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment • Strong understanding of CKD/ESKD disease processes and management of related co-morbidities • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data-driven decision-making • Ability to provide evidence-based recommendations and support clinical decision-making • Deep knowledge of kidney disease, related co-morbidities, and current treatment guidelines
