📋 Description

• Formulate, articulate, and execute a multi-year enterprise cybersecurity and risk management strategy • Drive security architecture modernization using Zero Trust, IAM, AWS, Azure, and multi-tenant SaaS security frameworks • Establish governance, risk assessments, and guardrails for Generative AI, machine learning pipelines, and connected biomedical/IoT devices • Direct 24/7 Security Operations, SIEM, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence functions • Lead enterprise incident response, cyber crisis management, and disaster recovery planning • Maintain relationships with threat intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and H-ISAC • Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness across HIPAA/HITECH, SOX, PCI DSS, NIST, and ISO 27001 • Direct IT Audit and Technology Risk functions, including third-party vendor risk and continuous compliance monitoring • Champion enterprise security awareness, phishing simulations, and training for over 70,000 teammates • Advise the CIO, Chief Legal Officer, C-Suite executives, and Board of Directors • Lead and develop the cybersecurity organization across Security Operations, Engineering, Architecture, IT Audit, and Security Program Management • Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment supporting teammate growth and operational excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience • 15+ years of progressive experience in information technology and cybersecurity • At least 7+ years in executive-level leadership (VP, CISO, or equivalent) • Track record leading enterprise cybersecurity in large, complex, distributed, or highly regulated organizations • Deep expertise in security operations, threat detection, incident management, cloud infrastructure security, and regulatory frameworks including HIPAA, SOX, and NIST • Experience presenting cyber risk, security roadmaps, and investment justifications to C-suite leaders and Board committees • Success recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing technical talent • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity/Information Technology or MBA preferred • CISSP, CISM, or CCISO preferred • Experience with digital health platforms, EHR, clinical technology workflows, or biomedical device security preferred
