📋 Description

• Perform brief, evidence-based virtual individual and/or group counseling for low to moderate acuity patients with acute mental health conditions • Develop, monitor, and document comprehensive treatment plans • Consult the DSM to identify symptoms, make diagnoses, and develop therapeutic or treatment plans • Exercise clinical judgment and support the behavioral health service line according to policies and procedures • Communicate effectively in writing and orally, particularly in case formulation and presentation • Explain TRICARE requirements and benefits to assigned patients • Prepare and maintain convenience files and outpatient and inpatient medical record documentation • Prepare case summaries and correspondence using the approved electronic medical record • Recommend hospitalization or determine service members' fitness for duty • Assess and complete Active Duty Profiles, MEB evaluations, Military Occupation/Mental Status Evaluations, command consultations, and other administrative processes for the Air Force, Army, and Navy • Attend staff meetings for case discussion, continuing education, quality improvement, and safety • Update patient charts and information within 72 business hours after appointments, or by close of business for high-visibility or higher-acuity patients • Follow SOP duty limitations and weapons access assessments • Participate in multidisciplinary safety and notification processes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education • Two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Social Worker using virtual platforms to perform bio-psychosocial evaluations; develop behavioral health treatment plans; administer Active-Duty Profiles; conduct Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) evaluations; make fitness for duty determinations; and provide psychotherapy • Candidates with less than two years of experience using virtual platforms will be considered • Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Clinical Social Work independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction • Must fulfill credentialing requirements and obtain and maintain appropriate/relevant clinical privileges • Must obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross • Ability to work a 9-hour shift, 0730-1630 Central Europe Time (CET) (UTC+2), Monday through Friday
