📋 Description

• Conduct crisis assessments, including risk and safety assessments, interventions, and appropriate referrals • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, supportive counseling, education, problem solving, role modeling, advocacy, and information • Deliver person-centered, rehabilitation- and recovery-focused services via televideo screenings and telephone crisis support • Collaborate with individuals served, families, treatment team members, CMHCs/CCBHCs, hospitals, and other providers • Coordinate and facilitate referrals to behavioral health and substance use services • Respond quickly to calls during scheduled shifts when not providing televideo services • Complete follow-up calls and provide postvention after initial service • Conduct State Hospital Assessments and referrals for involuntary hospitalization under Kansas statutes • Attend Care and Treatment hearings for individuals referred for involuntary hospitalization • Complete screen documentation before the end of the shift and other documentation within 24 hours • Complete agency and program trainings and credentialing requests • Maintain confidentiality under HIPAA • Attend staff meetings and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or marriage and family therapy • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board • Must maintain licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board • Two years of experience providing client-related services • One year of experience providing crisis intervention services • One year of experience working in CMHCs preferred • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills with diverse populations • Strong organizational skills and customer service skills • Prior computer experience and basic computer fluency • Ability to learn and use new technologies, computer programs, and phone systems • Ability to prepare and submit comprehensive, accurate DCF reports according to mandated guidelines and timelines • Must successfully complete all required background checks • Ability to work Sunday–Wednesday, 4 p.m.–2 a.m. • Ability to speak, write, memorize, talk, read, problem solve, see, hear, and sit; push, pull, lift, or carry 20 pounds
