📋 Description

• Manage weekly and monthly new money and renewal rate‑setting for MYGA and FIA products • Analyze product profitability, economics, and market competitiveness to inform rate decisions • Partner with stakeholders to align pricing actions with broader business and distribution strategies • Maintain and enhance pricing assumptions, methodologies, and underlying analytics • Develop and refine models supporting profitability analysis and new product development • Ensure assumptions reflect emerging experience, market conditions, and strategic objectives • Build and maintain a centralized rate‑setting database and corporate pricing model • Partner with corporate actuarial teams to ensure alignment with enterprise pricing frameworks • Improve data integrity, transparency, and governance across pricing processes • Support new product development and implementation across annuity offerings • Contribute to ongoing enhancements of existing products and profitability management practices • Provide analytical insights to support corporate strategy, financial planning, and risk management • Respond to recurring and ad hoc analytical requests from actuarial, finance, and leadership teams • Translate complex analyses into clear insights to support decision‑making

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance, or related field • FSA or near‑FSA designation • 5+ years of actuarial experience, with a focus on annuity pricing and/or market risk management • Strong knowledge of MYGA and FIA products (including GLWB), and associated profitability and risk dynamics • Understanding of accounting frameworks and investment strategies impacting annuity pricing • Advanced Excel skills; experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or MG‑ALFA preferred • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
