• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation • Ensure sufficient supply of goods and products • Control the commercial impact of receiving, locating, dispatching, sourcing, purchasing, and optimizing inventory levels • Administer an inventory control system addressing organizational needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts, and finished goods • Ensure pickups and deliveries meet service-level targets • Dispatch drivers and common carriers to appropriate pickup and delivery locations • Reconcile daily data from third-party carriers against operational plans • Complete daily and weekly operational reports • Answer a high volume of incoming calls
• High School Diploma or GED (Required) • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the high school diploma or GED • Two (2) or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or a related field (Required) • No licensure or certification required • Transportation management • Detail oriented • Customer service • Task management • Communication • Reporting • Records management • Documentation
