📋 Description

• Serve as technical and program partner across projects and opportunities within a customer vertical • Maintain visibility and alignment across active and upcoming projects • Ensure functional designs are robust, executable, and aligned with best practices and DCS standards • Support engineering estimates, schedules, resource planning, and scope definitions • Identify, communicate, and mitigate design, schedule, vendor, and execution risks • Coordinate Mechanical Engineering, Project Engineering, Controls, PMs, vendors, and external partners • Participate in heartbeat meetings, coordination meetings, forecast reviews, design reviews, customer FE calls, and engineering calls • Own the program lessons-learned process and drive improvements • Identify resource constraints and communicate staffing, skill, and capacity risks to leadership • Review dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools for project status, demand, risks, requirements, and readiness • Mentor engineers and project team members • Advise sales, applications, and program management on pursuit strategy, solution fit, execution risk, and customer priorities • Review proposals, define functional scope, clarify mechanical requirements, and support precontract reviews • Own engineering hour estimates and support ROM pricing and labor/material validation • Review project schedules and support go/no-go evaluations • Ensure readiness for execution by aligning scope, schedule, and engineering deliverables • Support testing plans, site activities, go-live execution, and critical-phase onsite or remote support • Serve as Engineering escalation point for the program portfolio • Evaluate, onboard, assess, and train vendors with Supplier Development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • 5+ years in material handling system design and delivery engineering • Strong engineering and design expertise • Understanding of how systems translate from concept to execution • Ability to operate across multiple projects and priorities • Strong cross-functional communication and ability to influence without direct authority • Strong commercial awareness, including estimating, proposal support, and cost evaluation • Proactive risk identification and alignment skills • Willingness to travel 30–40% of a typical year • Highly organized, with ability to track multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously
