• Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored energy infrastructure solutions covering batteries, BMS, inverters, transformers, protection systems, EMS, and SCADA • Provide technical solutions and market knowledge across utility-scale, commercial and industrial, telecommunications, and utility markets • Explain Eos energy storage benefits for peak shifting/shaving, long-duration dispatch, ancillary services, micro-grid systems, and renewable firming/smoothing • Partner with Sales and internal technical teams to prepare technical responses to RFQs and RFPs • Ensure appropriate handover of customer orders to project management • Gather feedback on product performance, quality, documentation, and customer satisfaction and relay it to technical teams • Support pipeline conversion by fostering technical champions at key accounts and supporting the broader market • Use procedures, tools, and best practices to scale the technical pre-sales organization • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments in energy storage and provide regional and global insights • Maintain competitive intelligence on battery technologies and solution providers • Assist with product manuals and data sheets • Develop layouts and coordinate third-party vendor quotes and technical supplements • Position Eos products and system designs competitively to improve success likelihood • Visit customer or partner locations, including offices, manufacturing floors, laboratories, and construction sites
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required • 5 years of experience in energy storage or related electrical infrastructure required • Full storage system design, implementation, construction and commissioning preferred • Technical expertise in the energy infrastructure market space • Electrical engineering background and strong understanding of battery technologies and their technical/commercial differentiators • Working knowledge of DraftSight strongly preferred • Strong understanding of distributed and utility-scale energy infrastructure markets, relevant customers, and technology providers • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills • Aggressive time management and ability to work to a deadline • Ability to elaborate technical evaluations in energy infrastructure applications • Strong compliance culture, passion for technical aspects, and self-motivation • Fluent English (written and spoken) • Willingness and ability to travel locally and overnight across North America • Ability to work in office, factory, and customer/partner locations • Ability to remain stationary 50% of the time and occasionally move around an office • Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally in an office environment and up to 50 pounds in a factory environment • Ability to use required safety equipment, including eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats, in factory environments
