📋 Description

• Lead application developers through the design, development, testing, delivery, and maintenance of full-stack applications • Provide hands-on technical leadership through design guidance, code reviews, troubleshooting, and occasional production coding • Own application-level design decisions across front-end components, back-end services, APIs, databases, and integrations • Manage engineers through regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, constructive feedback, and career development planning • Mentor engineers and model accountability, sound judgment, collaboration, and continuous learning • Plan and prioritize team tasks, estimate work, assign responsibilities, and manage capacity and progress against delivery milestones • Partner with product, program, data, and client stakeholders to clarify requirements, agree on scope, and translate business needs into technical solutions • Guide code quality, automated testing, application security, and documentation while ensuring compliance with client SDLC processes and governance requirements • Collaborate with the Cloud Architect to coordinate application deployment needs and resolve dependencies • Communicate technical tradeoffs, delivery status, risks, and recommendations; maintain delivery plans, address blockers, and escalate issues • Improve development and delivery practices while balancing commitments, software quality, and engineers’ growth

🎯 Requirements

• Pragmatic, well-rounded technologist capable of guiding application design, mentoring engineers, and modeling effective leadership • Experience with full-stack software development • Ability to provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot, and contribute production code • Knowledge of front-end components, back-end services, APIs, databases, and integrations • Ability to manage engineers through one-on-ones, performance reviews, feedback, and career development planning • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, estimate work, assign responsibilities, and manage team capacity and delivery progress • Ability to collaborate with product, program, data, and client stakeholders • Knowledge of automated testing, application security, documentation, SDLC processes, and governance requirements • Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs, delivery status, risks, and recommendations • Ability to address blockers and escalate issues when needed
