📋 Description

• Design, develop and maintain SQL database systems to support manufacturing operations • Optimize and monitor MS SQL Server databases, ETL/ELT integrations, CDC, replication, GCP BigQuery DBT Data Models, and GCP Iceberg archival • Drive database best practices and support data modernization initiatives by adopting cutting-edge technologies including Ai and MCP • Develop and maintain monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address database related issues • Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing and replication solutions to provide near real-time data solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design systems and implement database solutions • Work with Microsoft SQL Server stack and GCP stack including SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI, PolyBase data virtualization, BigQuery, Datastream, Cloud Storage, BigLake tables for Apache Iceberg, Cloud SQL, and DBT • Collaborate with IT security team in maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Hardware Security Modules (HSM) used for key management • Document and train DBA teams on solutions to common issues encountered and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server and fluent in SQL Server 2012+ • Some DBA experience or knowledgeable in DBA best practices and an understanding of replication • Nice to have experience with BigQuery, Iceberg, DBT, and open table formats or similar technology and knowledgeable in VMware and SQL Server 2022 • Nice to have experience with Siemens Camstar • Working knowledge with data management and other tools, such as Jira, Jama and Confluence • Strong English written and oral communication skills
