📋 Description

• Set the strategic direction of the organization's cybersecurity posture and IT operations function • Direct multiple functional areas and establish enterprise-wide strategy • Ensure organizational alignment with DIRECTV's business objectives • Translate corporate goals into actionable security and operations roadmaps • Manage significant budgets, resources, and cross-functional teams • Own and drive the overall direction of cybersecurity and IT operations across the enterprise • Develop and authorize cybersecurity and IT operations policies across functional areas and business units • Build and maintain strategic roadmaps aligned with broader business objectives • Partner with executive leadership to align business strategy with organizational goals • Manage cybersecurity domain experts and technical leaders across multiple teams • Direct and control activities across multiple functional areas • Champion security-by-design principles • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and third-party stakeholders • Communicate cybersecurity posture, strategic direction, and emerging risks to upper management • Lead development and rollout of organizational security policies • Provide analytical insight and reporting for executive decision-making • Own budget planning, allocation, and financial performance • Drive continuous improvement to optimize operational efficiency and cost management • Make strategic resource-allocation decisions • Evaluate complex, high-impact problems and mitigate risk • Make critical decisions affecting functional, divisional, or company-wide operations • Anticipate and respond to evolving cybersecurity threats and operational challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive expertise and demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, and strategic planning • Proven track record leading large-scale operational functions within a complex organization • Experience managing complex organizational structures, multiple teams, and cross-functional stakeholders • Demonstrated success managing external partner and vendor relationships • Strong executive leadership capabilities • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across all levels • Ability to operate as a strategic business partner to senior executives • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to translate data and risk assessments into actionable strategy • Exceptional communication skills • Ability to present complex security and operational topics to non-technical executive audiences • Ability to develop and authorize corporate/organizational policy with enterprise-wide impact • Comfortable directing multiple functional areas through layered team structures • May require a background check due to routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer proprietary data • Must be located in the United States, excluding Alaska • Requires 10% travel
