📋 Description

• Own full-cycle recruitment for executive, leadership, and highly specialized roles • Lead intake and calibration sessions with hiring managers • Source passive candidates through job boards, Boolean and X-ray searches, professional networks, associations, referrals, social media, and direct outreach • Build and maintain an always-on talent bench and nurture pipelines • Manage requisitions, job postings, and candidate flow in Workday ATS/HRIS • Design structured interview and assessment processes • Monitor and report requisition, pipeline, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and other recruiting metrics • Advise hiring managers throughout searches with pipeline updates, market insights, and interview coaching • Facilitate debriefs and decision-making conversations • Maintain high-touch candidate communication and manage sensitive candidate conversations • Represent DIRECTV’s mission, culture, and employer value proposition • Model Talent Acquisition best practices and elevate peer performance without direct people-management responsibility • Partner with Compensation on competitive offers and with leadership on immigration/visa considerations • Coordinate onboarding, operations, and background/reference checks through day one • Lead compensation strategy, construct and present offer packages, and negotiate salary, bonuses, equity, relocation, and retention scenarios • Ensure offers comply with pay equity guidelines, approval workflows, and regulatory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting, executive search, or talent acquisition • Direct ownership of leadership-level and specialized searches • Success sourcing and closing passive candidates using job boards, Boolean search, professional networking platforms, industry associations, and referral networks • Experience leading and closing complex compensation negotiations, including multifaceted bonus structures • Ability to build consultative relationships with senior hiring managers and executives • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong project and stakeholder management skills • Experience partnering cross-functionally on hiring strategy and offer execution • Sound judgment and discretion with confidential, sensitive, or high-visibility searches • Ability to operate independently with strategic thinking and disciplined execution • Advanced ATS and HRIS proficiency preferred; Workday experience strongly preferred • Talent marketing experience, including programmatic job distribution, SEO/SEM, paid social, and career site optimization, preferred • Professional network and industry presence preferred • Media, entertainment, telecommunications, or technology recruiting experience preferred • Familiarity with executive compensation structures preferred • Experience mentoring within a broader TA team preferred • May require a background check due to routine access to proprietary data
