📋 Description

• Lead the vision, culture, and standards for spa, fitness, recovery, and longevity programming across every Discovery Land Company property • Define and evolve wellness philosophy and member experience standards across all properties • Design signature wellness programming across spa, fitness, recovery, and longevity offerings • Formulate and maintain the Wellness Brand Manual • Monitor wellness, fitness, and longevity trends and develop forward-looking ideas • Partner with development, architecture, and design teams on wellness facilities from concept through opening • Own wellness pre-opening timelines, design sign-offs, equipment procurement, licensing lead time, and staffing ramp schedules • Set space-planning, equipment, and design standards • Recommend capital investment priorities and approve wellness capital and operating expenditures within established authority • Own the wellness department’s annual operating budget with property finance leads • Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, health and safety, accessibility, sanitation, insurance, and data privacy requirements across jurisdictions • Establish medical director or physician-group oversight for medical-adjacent longevity services • Set staffing standards and support hiring, training, development, recruitment, succession, and talent mobility for property wellness teams • Conduct regular property site visits to assess staff performance, facility condition, and member sentiment • Define the portfolio wellness technology stack and manage vendor and brand partnerships • Represent wellness in member communications and community-facing moments • Build member relationships and understand evolving wellness expectations and family needs • Oversee wellness service delivery, member interactions, feedback, satisfaction, utilization, and program enrollment • Review monthly Profit & Loss statements and annual budgets and capital expenditures at club locations • Establish succession and career-path plans and track promotion and retention rates • Leverage wellness and longevity technology and best practices • Travel regularly to properties and events, visit each property annually, and submit post-visit reports with strategic recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field • 10–15 years of experience in wellness, spa, and fitness management • 5+ years of experience in senior leadership • Demonstrated ability to lead wellness development projects from concept to opening across multiple locations • Experience building and leading teams in a discreet, relationship-driven service culture • Working knowledge of wellness and spa regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions • Experience partnering with medical or clinical oversight for longevity-adjacent services • Comfort operating in a capital-intensive, real-estate-driven business • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team across a geographically dispersed portfolio • Familiarity with international markets and wellness, fitness, and longevity trends • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, and moving for more than eight hours and lifting/carrying items sometimes greater than 50 pounds • Ability to work in a team environment and remain calm during busy periods • Flexibility to pivot to new projects and work in a fast-paced environment • Relevant wellness or spa management certification preferred • Additional languages preferred
