📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the financial reporting process • Prepare monthly financial reports and financial statements for bank and management reporting • Research technical accounting issues and draft related whitepapers • Manage preparation and support of audited annual financial statements • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors • Coordinate with accounting personnel at international locations and provide monthly close documentation • Provide accounting support and ensure consistent policy and procedure implementation at international entities • Compile and analyze financial information for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and reporting • Lead preparation of monthly financial variance analysis reports • Lead implementation of internal controls and process improvements • Partner with Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Accounting, and International Accounting teams • Help establish accounting policies and ensure financial statements are accurate and free of material misstatement

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience with financial reporting, including preparation of footnote disclosures required (or working in these areas in the capacity of an auditor) • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Strong attention to detail • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to convey complex financial information clearly at the executive level, verbally and in writing • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities while working remotely • High ethical standards and ability to meet confidentiality requirements • Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial management tools • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups • Ability to learn accounting and reporting applications quickly • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • 5-7 years of progressive experience, with the most recent role at manager level or equivalent, or strong experienced senior-level experience with leadership experience ready to advance
