📋 Description

• Own the target-state solution architecture across D365 CE and D365 F&O, including system integration • Design enterprise data migration architecture across Great Plains, D365 F&O, Bright Pearl, MAS 100, and MAS 200 • Review and approve technical design documents, functional specifications, and integration designs • Identify and resolve architectural risks, technical debt, and design conflicts • Define integration architecture across CE, F&O, EDI, and third-party or middleware systems • Translate business requirements into technical and functional design decisions • Set standards for security roles, environments, extensibility, and code/configuration governance • Own build-versus-configure-versus-customize decisions • Lead architecture review sessions at key program milestones • Define migration validation and reconciliation approaches • Assess feasibility and technical risk for scope changes • Document end-state architecture, integration maps, and data lineage • Provide technical escalation support during UAT and cutover • Shape the Dynamics technology roadmap, including Power Platform, Dataverse Fabric, and AI/automation opportunities • Mentor Business Analysts and the Technical Lead • Present architecture decisions, risks, and trade-offs to CIO/ELT stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years in enterprise systems architecture, with at least 5+ years specifically architecting Dynamics 365 solutions • Demonstrated experience architecting both D365 CE and D365 F&O, including how they integrate • Prior experience leading a multi-source ERP-to-D365 data migration/consolidation • Direct exposure to legacy platforms such as Great Plains, Bright Pearl, MAS 90/100/200, or comparable mid-market ERPs is a strong plus • Track record architecting greenfield D365 implementations • Deep understanding of Dataverse, dual-write, Power Platform integration patterns, and D365 F&O data structures/extension models • Proven experience acting as the technical counterparty to a Systems Integrator • Strong grasp of enterprise-scale data migration methodology: mapping, cleansing, sequencing, reconciliation, and cutover planning • Experience defining integration architecture involving EDI and third-party/middleware systems • Ability to operate at hands-on design and executive communication levels • Strong facilitation skills for architecture review and design sign-off sessions • Prior experience mentoring technical leads or developers and establishing architectural governance standards • Experience working in a PE-backed or high-growth environment is a plus
