📋 Description

• Monitor and maintain security controls across cloud and corporate environments • Configure and administer SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and IAM tools • Identify security gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen the security posture • Support infrastructure hardening and secure configuration initiatives • Participate in the full incident response lifecycle, including detection, investigation, triage, containment, remediation, and recovery • Own security incidents through resolution, including escalation and communication • Maintain and improve incident response playbooks, SOPs, and runbooks • Perform root cause analysis and document corrective and preventative actions • Monitor emerging threats and assess their impact • Monitor, evaluate, prioritize, and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities • Track remediation against SLAs and escalate overdue risks • Implement and improve security controls and automate repetitive security processes • Develop scripts, tooling, and integrations for security monitoring, reporting, and response • Assist with security architecture reviews and secure implementation of new technologies • Evaluate security tools and technologies and make recommendations • Coordinate with Omnissa on platform releases, security updates, vulnerabilities, and remediation • Support vendor security reviews and technology evaluations • Support SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other security and compliance programs • Maintain security policies, procedures, evidence, and technical documentation • Support internal and external audits • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Support, Operations, Compliance, and other teams • Provide practical guidance on secure design and implementation • Communicate technical security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Contribute to accountability, continuous improvement, and shared security responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure security, or a related technical discipline • Experience working in a cloud-based or SaaS environment • Hands-on experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security controls • Working knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, or IAM • Strong understanding of common security threats, attack techniques, and mitigation strategies • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing issues, and take ownership through resolution • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation, SOP, SLA, and follow-through practices • Experience supporting security and compliance requirements in a regulated or compliance-focused environment • Preferred: Omnissa Horizon or VMware Horizon • Preferred: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Preferred: Kubernetes and container security • Preferred: Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation • Preferred: Identity and Access Management • Preferred: Security automation and orchestration • Preferred: Threat intelligence or digital forensics • Preferred: Python, PowerShell, Go, or similar scripting languages • Preferred: MITRE ATT&CK framework • Preferred: Zero Trust architecture • Preferred: SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or similar compliance frameworks • Relevant certifications are a plus, including Security+, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, and GIAC certifications
