📋 Description

• Initiate and drive mission-critical Rust projects from conception through deployment • Write and optimize parsing code with emphasis on performance • Support automated benchmarking • Design, implement, and debug formal grammars, efficient parsers, standard and non-standard automata, and text-based indexing/search • Integrate other teams’ work into production-ready Rust • Use profiling, debugging, and continuous integration tools to maintain and enhance code quality • Turn team output into production-ready Rust • Develop Python bindings and C++/CUDA glue for integration into an inference engine • Create benchmarks to verify performance • Build parsers and compilers for structured generation in language-model systems

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to sophisticated, collaborative Rust projects • Track record of developing well-tested, high-performance software • Expertise with code profiling and debugging • Experience with automated workflows in CI • Ability to learn and/or work with CUDA, C/C++, and Rust/Python bindings • Excellent communication skills • Proactive approach suited for an early-stage startup culture • Availability daily for at least 3 hours of overlap with morning New York City (Eastern Time Zone) business hours, 8am–1pm • 1-page resume in English • Public code availability or a publicly shareable code profile • Expository work sample demonstrating communication and work process
