📋 Description

• Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and operational accounting functions • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records • Coordinate and support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes • Ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and within established deadlines • Prepare, analyze, and consolidate financial information, including financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Partner with accounting leadership to develop, implement, and improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting processes • Prepare and review financial schedules and documentation for external accounting firms • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations • Serve as a technical resource for accounting and finance team members • Provide guidance and resolve complex accounting questions • Support cross-functional initiatives • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen financial reporting accuracy and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required • 3–5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience • Strong background in general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliations • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices • Thorough understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable financial regulations • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise strongly preferred • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills • Experience in healthcare, durable medical equipment (DME), or related medical services industries strongly preferred • Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus
