📋 Description

• Own the customer documentation platform, including information architecture, authoring workflow, review process, publishing, and search • Write and maintain integration guides for supported data and alert sources • Write administration and governance documentation for enterprise and MSSP customers, including tenant management, access control, API keys, audit trails, and response action authorization • Own API reference and developer-facing documentation, using source-generated documentation where possible • Write release notes covering changes, benefits, and known limitations • Explain AI-completed work, including investigation structure, evidence, uncertainty, and system limitations • Partner with customer success and support to identify and close documentation gaps • Establish a style guide and docs-as-code workflow • Collaborate directly with product, engineering, customer success, and sales engineering • Report to the Head of Product

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of technical writing experience for software products with a technical buyer • At least 2 years documenting APIs, integrations, or infrastructure-adjacent products • Docs-as-code fluency: Git, Markdown, and at least one static documentation framework such as Docusaurus, MkDocs, Mintlify, or equivalent • Ability to read code and API specifications accurately and identify discrepancies between implementation and specification • Portfolio demonstrating the ability to explain complex systems to practitioners under time pressure • Experience interviewing engineers and product managers to extract complete information • Strong editorial judgment • Experience owning a documentation set end to end, including information architecture and maintenance • Preference for focused ownership and deep embedding in a product team • Early-stage startup mindset; comfort with ambiguity and lightspeed execution • Data-driven approach • Cybersecurity or security operations domain experience preferred • Experience documenting AI or ML products preferred • Experience at Series A–C stage companies preferred • Experience with documentation analytics and support ticket data preferred • Familiarity with structured authoring or content reuse systems preferred
