📋 Description

• Provide support and manage resources across different regions • Support operational leadership in financial decision-making • Develop financial strategies and analyze revenue, expenses, investments, and risks • Perform analytical reviews to identify trends and opportunities • Recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies • Work with Operations to develop budgets and forecasts • Create forecasts using historical data • Report actual results and analyze performance versus plan • Assist with cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial planning • Prepare internal financial reports and recommendations for senior management • Publish periodic reports covering accounts payable, freight, and consumable metrics • Help set financial goals and create roadmaps • Participate in special projects, process improvement, and financial tools development and implementation • Manage financial process improvements, KPIs, and strategic initiative tracking • Support internal and external financial and system audits • Plan and manage workload to support timely and accurate monthly financial reporting • Ensure swift invoice payment and confirm charges and expenses for billing • Manage Accounts Payable, vendor invoice tracking, purchasing, and revenue accruals • Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, corporate submissions, expense management, budgetary support, and ad hoc analysis • Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model • Attend meetings and prepare and distribute meeting minutes • Create and disseminate communications and reports • Assist with presentations • Identify opportunities to optimize operational assets and investments • Produce cost quotes, strategic business cases, risk assessments, and ad hoc analyses • Meet with vendors to maintain competitive pricing • Manage performance of Accounting Assistants, Financial Analysts, and other assigned financial staff • Ensure training and development of team members

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably within the area of Accounting or Finance • A minimum of 5 years of accounting, FP&A or finance experience is required • Minimum of 3 years in supervising direct reports • Ability to analyze revenue, expenses, investments, risks, trends, costs, and financial performance • Experience with financial reporting and control, income management, debt management, invoicing, billing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Ability to manage and develop assigned resources • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally, maturely, discreetly, and securely • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and others • Compliance with DSV corporate and site-specific policies and leadership requirements
