📋 Description

• Assist the General Counsel and Human Resources department with labor and employment matters • Provide in-house legal counsel on human resources, wage and hour, workers’ compensation, unemployment, labor relations, employee benefits, employment agreements, FMLA, litigation, grievances, and arbitrations • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies • Supervise, manage, and evaluate outside counsel on employment-related matters, including litigation • Educate clients and stakeholders on legal matters, policies, and procedures • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with customers • Develop customer-centric solutions balancing legal compliance with customer needs • Anticipate business challenges and recommend process, product, or service improvements • Solve complex problems with broad business impact and contribute to functional strategy • Develop innovative concepts, services, technologies, or products addressing customer requirements • Anticipate customer needs and communicate complex ideas across organizational levels • Work across the organization to build acceptance for ideas and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree (or equivalent) from an ABA accredited law school • Licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one State • 6+ years’ prior in-house counsel experience with a focus on labor and employment law required • Current member of the bar or able to be admitted to the in-house counsel bar • Experience negotiating and drafting a variety of agreements, including customer terms relating to services, data and information technology • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams • Detail orientation and ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects under deadline pressure • Ability to deliver in a demanding and entrepreneurial environment • Fully remote in the U.S.A.
