📋 Description

• Assist in developing, designing, and testing data sets delivered through Actuarial data marts • Assist with monthly data refreshes, validations, and quality assurance checks for financial reporting • Develop decision support solutions, including medical and pharmacy claim financial data builds, data extracts, reports, data mart tables, views, and analysis • Support data application areas, including data definitions, usage and file structure, SQL code technical structure, business rules, and system requirements • Identify, communicate, and implement departmental best practices • Analyze data, system problems, and incidents; develop and implement recommendations and solutions • Communicate associated actions, business impacts, and results • Provide data support to senior team members on business project teams and non-project activities • Perform unit testing and create sample data sets to validate SQL code and logic • Provide analytical and ad hoc support for departmental, divisional, and corporate projects • Write system and technical specifications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required), or 5+ years of experience in a related field in lieu of degree • 3+ years of experience in related fields • 3+ years of SQL Analysis/Development experience • Experience with medical and pharmacy claims and/or rebates data • Healthcare data analytics experience, including experience with Government and Commercial lines of business • Experience with Snowflake and AWS cloud environments • Knowledge of application management, business requirements analysis, requirements gathering, SDLC, software requirements analysis, solution requirements, system testing, technical requirements, and unit testing
