📋 Description

• Manage and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages • Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and communicate findings to finance leadership • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies • Oversee general ledger activities and maintain accurate financial records • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items • Monitor accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, intercompany transactions, and debt-related accounting • Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls over financial reporting • Maintain accounting policies and procedures documentation • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements • Support annual financial statement audits, tax filings, and regulatory examinations • Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management • Review payroll accounting and related reconciliations • Monitor banking activity and support treasury-related initiatives • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency • Participate in system implementations, integrations, and automation initiatives • Partner with Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to streamline workflows and improve financial visibility • Report directly to the Sr. Director Finance & Accounting • Provide mentorship to accounting team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial consolidations • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment • CPA/CMA license strongly preferred • Experience in healthcare, clinical research, physician services, or multi-location organizations preferred • Experience with private equity-backed or high-growth companies preferred • Familiarity with payroll accounting, lease accounting (ASC 842), and debt accounting preferred
