📋 Description

• Teach fiber optic installation, fusion splicing, ribbon splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and broadband deployment practices • Deliver instruction through classroom presentations, hands-on laboratory exercises, and field-based demonstrations • Train telecommunications, broadband, utility, construction, and industrial professionals • Interface with the Sales Department concerning customization of training programs • Demonstrate and evaluate hands-on fiber optic splicing and testing techniques • Travel throughout the United States and occasionally internationally • Deliver training for NTT clients as part of NTT's instructor-led skilled trades training programs

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of hands-on field experience performing fiber optic splicing, installation, testing, or network deployment within the last five years • Current Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification • Current Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Certified Fiber Optic Specialist - Splicing (CFOS/S) certification • Previous experience teaching, instructing, mentoring, or facilitating adult learners • Demonstrated experience with fusion splicing equipment and fiber optic testing instruments • Experience teaching classroom and hands-on lab courses in a professional or technical training environment • Working knowledge of fiber optic installation standards, testing methodologies, and industry best practices • Current driver's license • Ability to travel on a consistent basis throughout the United States and occasionally internationally • Ability to interface with the Sales Department concerning customization of training programs • Proficiency in PowerPoint presentations and virtual training platforms • Ability to communicate effectively via email and cell phone • Ability to demonstrate and evaluate hands-on fiber optic splicing and testing techniques • Ability to function independently in a highly efficient manner • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Computer literacy (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite) • Proficient in public speaking and classroom facilitation • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Additional FOA certifications (preferred) • Experience with Outside Plant (OSP) fiber installations (preferred) • Experience with utility, telecommunications, broadband, or data center fiber networks (preferred) • Curriculum development or course customization experience (preferred) • Experience teaching certification preparation programs (preferred) • Experience delivering multi-day technical training programs (preferred)
