📋 Description

• Initiate and manage landowner relationships to secure long-term land agreements for renewable project development • Assist in obtaining executed land leases, land purchases, collection and transmission line easements, access road easements, title curative instruments, and crossing agreements • Implement regional land acquisition campaigns, identify landowners, conduct outreach and meetings, articulate the company value proposition, and negotiate contracts • Provide data for weekly project updates and submit weekly status reports • Conduct stakeholder meetings and presentations and maintain stakeholder relationships throughout land acquisition and development • Follow corporate land acquisition policies • Support Community Relations and regional staff with landowner communications, newsletters, phone calls, letters, and project update meetings • Forecast and report on land acquisition budgets for assigned projects • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• RL, RPL, or CPL through American Association of Professional Landmen preferred • Local Notary license preferred, or ability to obtain one • 2+ years of land acquisition experience required • Proven sales, account acquisition, and account management experience • Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented problem-solving ability • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software • Excellent verbal and written communication and public speaking skills • Contract drafting experience required • Working knowledge of land, legal, and negotiation principles • Ability to work independently and as a team player • Ability to travel 75% or more of work time
