📋 Description

• Represent Egetis’s mission as an ethical, high-science, patient-focused company • Develop and maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in relevant product and disease-state areas • Conduct balanced medical/scientific exchange with healthcare providers, thought leaders, payers, and patient advocacy groups • Educate stakeholders about clinical programs, disease state, diagnosis, mechanism of action, and data • Assist Medical Communication colleagues with development, review, and approval of scientific-exchange materials • Contribute to annual field medical strategic and operational plans, including HCP/TL engagement and congress plans • Support clinical research initiatives, including site evaluation, recruitment, investigator meetings, expert identification, accrual enhancement, and scientific/disease-state education • Support advisory boards and other scientific meetings • Monitor competitive landscapes and contribute to competitive-intelligence plans for medical congresses • Identify key insights and inform internal stakeholders to support clinical trials and therapy launches • Train Medical Affairs and cross-functional colleagues on disease state, diagnosis, mechanism of action, and clinical trial data • Address unsolicited medical questions through scientific exchange and congress booths • Support Medical Information as the function develops • Support investigator-initiated research and grants through review, submission, evaluation, and recommendation • Maintain compliance with company policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines • Travel extensively, including occasional travel to the Cambridge, Massachusetts office and potential international travel

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience supporting launch of therapies in the rare or ultra-rare disease space is strongly preferred • 7+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry within Medical Affairs, including significant field medical experience • Extensive experience in rare or ultra-rare diseases required • Established relationships with healthcare professionals and thought leaders in pediatric endocrinology, pediatric neurology, clinical genetics, or neurogenetics are highly desirable • Ability to build credible scientific relationships across multidisciplinary care teams, centers of excellence, and other stakeholders serving rare disease communities • Strong scientific communication and presentation skills • Ability to communicate complex clinical and scientific information effectively to internal and external stakeholders • Strong analytical skills, including critically evaluating and interpreting scientific and clinical data and literature • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively and operate independently in a field-based role • Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial biotechnology or pharmaceutical organization is ideal • Comfort operating with ownership, agility, collaboration, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, or PA) or other relevant advanced healthcare qualification required, together with appropriate field medical experience
