📋 Description

• Spearhead the strategic introduction and commercial scaling of sustainability assets for Elanco International markets • Create programs delivering credible outcomes to Scope 3 and offset buyers • Design and communicate monitoring requirements to the UpLook team • Implement emission reduction programs with Elanco International teams • Own end-to-end design and development of carbon programs for OUS markets • Write program design documents and guide MMRV and operational design • Partner across program design, commercial, technical, and operations teams • Apply relevant standards and methodologies to carbon project design • Represent Elanco on global working groups • Manage consulting-partner relationships • Manage program-level risk and co-develop program contracts with Legal and Operations • Oversee MMRV processes for sustainability assets in key markets • Lead localization and deployment of the UpLook platform for international markets • Represent OUS UpLook needs in roadmap and prioritization discussions • Partner with Global Strategy on program commercialization pathways • Provide technical expertise to food chain and off-take partner account leaders • Support CPG/buyer contracting and engagement • Manage third-party consultants, auditors, and technology partners • Position Elanco as a livestock sustainability expert through industry panels and white papers • Report to the Vice President, Livestock Sustainability

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Animal Science, Animal Biology, or a related field, plus 3+ years of experience, or PhD and 1 year of experience • 5+ years of progressive experience in sustainability, agribusiness, or marketing within the animal health or livestock sector • Deep understanding of carbon markets and GHG accounting, including Scope 3 • Demonstrated experience applying key methodologies and standards in carbon project design, such as voluntary carbon market experience, consulting, or MMRV design • Strong understanding of dairy and feedlot/beef production systems, including direct engagement with producers • Knowledge of dairy and beef carbon footprinting approaches • Experience with third-party validation and verification engagements • English required • Spanish or Portuguese preferred • Up to 30% global travel
