📋 Description

• Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students in a virtual setting • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals with students, parents, and school staff • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust intervention plans as needed • Consult with teachers and school staff on strategies supporting classroom participation and success • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and functional needs • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' education plans • Maintain accurate and timely therapy documentation, progress reports, and required paperwork

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field • Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state in which you live and practice • Must be registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) • Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting • Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Computer skills, including email and Microsoft Teams • Experience in teletherapy • Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, Handwriting Without Tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred) • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
