📋 Description

• Fill short- and long-term respiratory therapy assignments throughout the health system • Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions • Apply standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines • Act independently and appropriately within the scope of knowledge and experience • Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes • Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes • Take on new and additional responsibilities • Manage competing priorities while embracing new ideas and cultural differences • Provide respiratory therapy services across varied practice settings during local-regional or national travel assignments

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist • Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner-accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Registry eligible • Current RRT credential • Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state where working • Required to have and maintain credentials required per specialty area, such as ACLS and NRP • BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, other health personnel, and department management • Analytical skills necessary to identify patients’ needs • Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment • Adult, NICU & PICU experience required • Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
