📋 Description

• Own the entire post-sales integration lifecycle from signed SOW validation through architecture, build, UAT, go-live, and ongoing maintenance • Lead the existing team of integration architects, integration engineers, and live support specialists • Validate technical feasibility, sizing, risks, gaps, and requirements in signed Statements of Work • Define integration architecture covering data models, sync patterns, authentication, error handling, and Ellucian Ethos frameworks • Set reference patterns and standards and develop the integration architecture team • Own delivery quality, timelines, tooling, and runbooks for integrations running as Dagster jobs over the Ethos API • Oversee flat-file, SFTP-delivered CSV and fixed-width, Common App, and bespoke one-off integrations • Own post-go-live sync health, monitoring, API versioning, enhancements, and incident escalations • Manage the chat-based Live Support experience for integration issues • Set the integrations operating model, hire and develop the team, define processes, and select delivery tooling • Partner with Product and Engineering on native integrations, productized capabilities, specifications, trade-offs, and sequencing • Help shape integrations strategy beyond SIS, including LMS integrations and Bring Your Own Integrations • Define and report KPIs including time-to-integrate, on-time SOW delivery, sync reliability, uptime, escalation volume, support volume, and resolution time • Serve as an escalation point for customer integration issues

🎯 Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in at least one major student information system, ideally Ellucian Banner or Colleague via the Ethos API • Hands-on experience integrating a CRM with an SIS • 8+ years of integration delivery or implementation experience in higher education or B2B SaaS • 3+ years leading technical teams of architects and/or engineers • Experience owning delivery outcomes across a portfolio of integrations • Ability to validate signed SOWs, size effort and risk, and define feasible integration approaches • Fluency with REST and SOAP APIs, webhooks, and scheduled and event-driven data-pipeline orchestration • Familiarity with Dagster, OAuth, API keys, bearer/session tokens, basic authentication, and Ellucian Ethos • Familiarity with Python/AWS stack including ECS, Secrets Manager, and S3 • Familiarity with MongoDB and Snowflake/dbt data layers • Ability to read payloads and pressure-test integration architectures • Experience growing and structuring technical delivery teams across architecture, engineering, and support • Ability to communicate with campus registrars, IT directors, engineers, executives, Sales, and Product partners • Nice to have: experience at a higher-education SaaS company • Nice to have: experience with Workday Student, Anthology/Campus Nexus, Populi, Destiny One, or CFNC • Nice to have: experience productizing managed/services offerings with Product • Nice to have: Dagster or similar orchestration, event-driven architectures, Docker/AWS ECS, and monitoring/observability such as Sentry
