• Lead investigations into fraud, knockoff products, and other civil and criminal violations • Create strategies to combat fraud and illicit distribution of knockoff drugs and promote brand protection • Triage incoming reports and coordinate matters from intake through disposition • Drive change and process improvement with cross-functional stakeholders • Collaborate with lawyers, investigators, intelligence analysts, business partners, forensic laboratory analysts, and data experts • Identify new investigative avenues using forensic technology and software • Monitor channels for new violations • Build relationships with law enforcement and regulatory authorities worldwide • Develop cases for referral and support resulting criminal prosecutions and civil actions • Document reports and case information in internal case management systems • Maintain confidential information, use discretion in sensitive investigations, comply with applicable laws, and preserve privileges • Support internal partners, regulators, and law enforcement • Work outside normal daytime hours as business needs require • Travel domestically and internationally periodically
• Bachelor’s degree • 10 years of investigative or supervisory experience in a federal or state law enforcement agency • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1 • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel internationally as required • Experience conducting complex transnational, cyber, intellectual property, drug, and/or financial crime investigations • Ability to develop investigative information through multiple sources, synthesize information into well-founded conclusions, and present clear recommendations • Experience leading investigations of violations of the federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and/or federal healthcare fraud investigations • Ability to establish positive relationships and confer effectively with colleagues, law enforcement, regulatory, and prosecutorial agencies • Experience in leadership of a large law enforcement agency • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision • Experience working directly with attorneys on investigation-related actions, including civil litigation and criminal prosecutions, depositions, discovery, and testifying in court • Master’s or professional degree preferred
