• Define and evolve GMAO capability strategy and multi-year roadmap • Establish a framework to assess capability implementation progress and impact • Align priorities across BUs, IBU, and GMAO stakeholders • Lead governance forums for decision-making, prioritization, and performance tracking • Identify improvement priorities and develop action plans • Serve as the point of contact across GMAO capabilities for hubs, affiliates, and global teams • Coordinate global rollout of medical capabilities through governance forums • Ensure execution of capability deep-dives, self-assessments, and follow-up actions • Identify and prioritize capability deployment and advancement initiatives • Lead the Hub Capability Lead community of practice and enable best-practice sharing • Guide training priorities and access to learning resources • Enable BU, US, and IBU teams to establish and optimize processes • Identify cross-team gaps, pain points, and opportunities across capability delivery processes • Design and coordinate operating-model and core-business-process optimization initiatives • Communicate progress, insights, and strategic direction to senior stakeholders • Identify and plan medical tasks from newly acquired ventures according to asset development stage • Assess GMAO capacity for new ventures • Partner with stakeholders to assess organizational change impacts • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans • Drive prioritization, trade-off decisions, capability adoption, measurable impact, and roadmap visibility
• Bachelor’s Degree • 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas • MBA preferred • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and shape strategic thinking • Demonstrated ability to manage highly complex and sometimes ambiguous tasks • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and influence cross-functionally • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work without being the subject matter expert • Demonstrated ability to communicate concisely with senior stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy to execution and action • Demonstrated ability to surface, challenge, and clarify complex matters with strategic judgment and organizational impact • Prior experience in capability development, impact measurement, and process optimization • Prior experience working with affiliates and in medical affairs • Prior experience building communities of practice • Strong inclusive leadership and ability to drive a positive team culture • Ability to navigate Roles and Responsibilities and approach work in a Team Lilly Spirit
