📋 Description

• Own the day-to-day Salesforce platform for North America and Global Services • Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions while operating within EEE IT enterprise standards • Lead the recurring Salesforce governance forum and align the platform roadmap, system health, and backlog priorities • Obtain IT review and approval for changes affecting integrations, API users, or the fundamental security sharing model • Coordinate evaluation and approval of AppExchange packages, connected apps, and external developer tools • Follow the approved environment strategy and avoid building configuration or development changes directly in Production • Use approved DevOps tooling for deployments from sandbox through testing, UAT, and production • Coordinate Salesforce major-release compatibility assessments, regression testing, and emerging technology evaluations • Partner with IT on user access lifecycle automation, MFA, least-privilege permission sets, break-glass administration, backup, recovery, and data retention • Design advanced Flow automations, custom objects, validation rules, and scalable data models • Manage account management, pipeline tracking, quoting, contract handoffs, service processes, and related workflows • Maintain configuration standards, naming conventions, technical-debt tracking, and a transparent cross-business-unit backlog • Partner with IT on Salesforce integrations with ERP, CPQ, and other enterprise systems • Oversee data integrity, normalization, deduplication, and enterprise master-data alignment • Create and optimize reports and operational dashboards for business and executive stakeholders • Administer the Salesforce security model in line with EEE IT policies • Lead business projects for major enhancements, upgrades, and changeovers • Ensure Salesforce data handling complies with export control, privacy, and records-retention policies • Serve as liaison across Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, PM, KAM, and Commercial Excellence • Act as primary escalation point for Salesforce functional issues, system errors, and user support tickets • Document configurations and administrative processes, mentor junior administrators and power users, and train and coach Salesforce users • Coordinate Salesforce licensing, renewals, and relationships with Salesforce and implementation partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience • 6+ years of hands-on enterprise Salesforce administration experience • Experience preferably within a global manufacturing, aftermarket service, or complex supply-chain environment • Expert-level mastery of Salesforce Flow Builder and declarative process automation • Deep foundational knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud data models, object behaviors, and security architecture • Proven experience working within IT governance, including change and release management, sandbox strategy, and security reviews • Experience supporting multiple business units or divisions on a shared org and balancing competing priorities • Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to business leaders, users, and IT • Required Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification • Experience in Salesforce, CPQ, or similar as an active user in a sales environment • Experience with Field Service or aftermarket service processes • Familiarity reading or writing basic Apex, SOQL, or LWC • Working knowledge of APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi, and Data Loader • Experience connecting Salesforce data to Tableau or Power BI • Knowledge of Salesforce security controls, including role hierarchies, sharing rules, permission sets, public groups, and field-level security • Knowledge of export control, privacy, and records retention requirements
