📋 Description

• Perform detailed on-site surveys and audits of client sites, including K-12 schools, higher education, federal, corrections, and healthcare facilities • Document existing conditions in designated software • Develop scopes of work and perform energy calculations for existing and proposed conditions • Manage projects from concept through completion, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards • Coordinate with teams and stakeholders • Ensure accuracy and quality of project deliverables and timelines • Identify and solve complex mechanical problems • Work on multiple phases, subtasks, or entire projects of moderate complexity • Plan projects and subtasks for tracking and presentation • Assist with scheduling development resources • Lead technical staff, junior engineers, subcontractors, and cross-division coordination • Interpret blueprints, models, and technical drawings • Interact with internal and external stakeholders during project development execution • Research new technologies and industry trends to improve products and processes • Evaluate new technologies and update historical files and deliverables to improve divisional efficiency • Independently determine approaches to assigned tasks using technical judgment • Ensure accuracy and outcomes of team deliverables • Lead, train, and mentor junior team members and new development team members • Lead the Development portion of ECM Challenger meetings as assigned • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, focused on electrical, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering • Proficiency in auditing domestic water, process water, steam, building envelope, HVAC Armor, demand control ventilation, and other systems • Subject Matter Expert in at least one system or area, with working knowledge of several other areas • Strong understanding of engineering principles • High proficiency in mechanical drawings and specifications • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret energy consumption data • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to train work groups and lead work teams • Ability to give presentations and write proposals and reports • Strong organizational and project management skills • Meticulous attention to detail in calculations, designs, and reports • Ability to stay current with evolving energy technologies, regulations, and industry best practices • Understanding of ROI, payback period, and life cycle cost analysis • Proficient understanding of energy and water scope and documentation, and measurement and verification practices • Proficient knowledge of estimating practices • Growth mindset for advancing industry knowledge and divisional efficiencies • Prior construction industry experience is a plus • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word • Ability to walk and stand for long periods • Ability to go up and down stairs • EIT, PE, CEM, LEED, CLIA, CWEP, or PMP certification preferred
