📋 Description

• Manage and lead multiple software engineering teams, setting objectives and priorities aligned with departmental and organizational goals • Define and execute departmental strategies, including resource allocation, budgeting, and technology adoption • Collaborate with department heads and executives to align software initiatives with overall company strategy • Foster innovation and technical excellence within the software engineering department • Mentor and coach software managers and leaders • Oversee complex software projects, monitor progress, and address challenges • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices • Participate in hiring and onboarding, evaluate performance goals, and support attracting and retaining talent • Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and training • 8 or more years of experience in software development • Proven experience managing and leading software teams • Strong strategic planning and project management skills • Excellent communication and leadership abilities • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa, including CPT/OPT • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a home workspace with limited disruption • Fiber, cable or DSL internet service required • May be required to work in the office if home work environment or internet connection is inadequate
