📋 Description

• Enter direct and interpreted data from ambulance call reports into billing software • Ensure adherence to client, company, and compliance standards • Provide feedback to the Revenue Cycle Manager on deficiencies, variances, and other billing issues • Process assigned pending and rejected claims • Process and distribute front-end client reporting • Build and maintain internal relationships to address client needs • Meet or exceed contracted client billing turnaround-time and compliance SLAs • Perform job tasks and interactions professionally and in accordance with company policies and regulations • Support the company mission and values • Perform other assigned tasks and participate in special projects or meetings • Provide backup assistance to Coding Specialists, Revenue Cycle Specialists, and Customer Service

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • At least one-year experience in a healthcare office, production, or clinical environment, or comparable classroom experience • Comfort learning new computer programs and software rapidly • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to take ownership of work • Sound judgment and critical-thinking ability for ambiguous scenarios • Ability to learn and apply specific client requirements • Ability to learn and apply HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and liability regulations/guidelines • Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, procedures, priorities, and duties • Ability to receive and apply positive and negative feedback appropriately • Strong internal customer service skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and independently • Detail-oriented with a strong desire for accuracy • Ability to manage time, focus, concentration, and productivity during repetitive work • Strong, accurate data-entry skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future • No current or future visa sponsorship available
