📋 Description

• Prepare claims, verify insurance, and retrieve medical records and documents from various systems for timely filing or re-adjudication of Motor Vehicle Accident claims • Contact employers, insurers, and other outside entities via outbound calls, email, or fax to verify or obtain information and receive Insurance Claim and Bill Review packages • Manage inbound and outbound calls efficiently and effectively • Obtain supporting claim documentation, compile billing packets, and file insurance claims • Move work efficiently through the department as part of a team • Conduct research and support organizational teams as needed • Use several systems for accurate and timely data entry • File and handle confidential documentation and patient health information while following HIPAA guidelines • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered • 1 year of medical bill processing experience desired • Strong phone and verbal communication skills • Experience with electronic document management in a healthcare setting desired • Strong computer proficiency • Basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) • Regular and predictable attendance • Ability to professionally and confidently represent EnableComp via phone, email, and fax • Ability to handle large volumes of work while maintaining attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Experience working under limited supervision, managing multiple tasks, and prioritizing assignments under time constraints • Ability to effectively communicate issues, problems, and results impacting project timelines • Ability to interact professionally at multiple levels within a client-oriented organization • Competent in MS Office Suite and Windows applications • Ability to sit for long periods of time
