📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Manage assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs • Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections, concerns, and misunderstandings during sales calls • Gain calls to action and close sales calls • Serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements • Develop and execute call plans to optimize customer coverage, frequency, access, and sales opportunities • Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales expertise • Share market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • At least five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred • High school diploma/GED required • Proven track record of leadership success • Solid presentation skills • Strong business acumen • Proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to identify customer style/behavior and adapt selling approach • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Pharmaceutical commercial industry experience preferred • Scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge preferred • English language proficiency preferred for non-English-speaking countries • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain credentials • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test • Must meet safe driving requirements • Ability to drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment
