📋 Description

• Join the Public Sector East team in New England or New York as a primary technical project developer • Understand customers� technical needs and turn them into accurate, concrete solutions • Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify mechanical and operating inefficiencies • Analyze utility bills and financials • Coordinate with contractors to provide creative, economical, and technically sound solutions • Create written and schematic technical plans communicating solutions and risks • Perform energy savings, operational savings, life cycle cost, and feasibility analyses • Provide energy analyses and establish guaranteed savings based on proposed measures • Create financial models based on customer parameters and project results • Coordinate with Account Executives and Project Managers to develop and present customer proposals • Coordinate with Project Managers to support smooth installations and communicate technical information between operations and sales • Identify and work with subcontractors and consultants on technical analyses and installation descriptions • Ensure delivered work exceeds job requirements • Approve equipment before ordering for accurate estimates and on-time delivery • Determine and develop measurements to ensure energy and operational guarantees are met • Keep current with technologies through articles, seminars, conferences, contractors, and suppliers • Monitor regional legislation affecting project development • Maintain full technical understanding of energy and plant/facility operations and serve as the customer�s ongoing technical resource

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor�s degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent • Three (3) to eight (8) years� experience in a construction or energy service related field • Frequent travel approximately 25%-50%, including overnight stays • Ability to conduct in-depth site surveys and analyze mechanical and operating inefficiencies • Ability to analyze utility bills and financials • Ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, Account Executives, Project Managers, internal teams, and customers • Ability to create technical plans, written and schematic • Knowledge of energy savings calculations, operational savings calculations, life cycle cost analysis, and feasibility analysis • Ability to create financial models • Ability to develop technical strategies, project costing, energy reduction forecasts, and measurement and verification plans • Ability to approve equipment before ordering • Ability to work adequately self-directed in open protocol situations • Current knowledge of energy and plant/facility operations and relevant technologies • Awareness of regional legislation affecting project development • A bonus: ten (10) years� experience in a construction or energy service related field • Bonus certifications: CEM, CMVP, any LEED Certification, NEBB TAB, any ASHRAE Certification, Professional License (PE), NCESS Record
