📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical project developer and technical resource for customers, Account Executives, and Regional management • Understand customer technical needs and develop accurate, concrete solutions • Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify mechanical and operating inefficiencies • Analyze facility utility bills and financials • Coordinate with contractors and provide creative, economical, technically sound solutions • Create written and schematic technical plans conveying solutions and risks • Perform energy savings, operational savings, life cycle cost, and feasibility analyses • Provide energy analyses and establish guaranteed savings for proposed measures • Create financial models based on customer parameters and project results • Coordinate with Account Executives and Project Managers to develop and present customer proposals • Support Project Managers during installation and communicate technical information between operations and sales • Identify and work with subcontractors and consultants on technical analysis and installation descriptions • Approve equipment before ordering to ensure accurate estimates and timely delivery • Develop measurements to verify energy and operational guarantees • Keep current with technologies, regional legislation, and energy and facility operations • Serve as the ongoing technical resource consultant for customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent • Three (3) to eight (8) years’ experience in a construction or energy service related field • Frequent travel approximately 25%-50%, including overnight stays • Ability to conduct in-depth site surveys and analyze utility bills and financials • Ability to perform energy savings calculations, operational savings calculations, life cycle cost analysis, and feasibility analysis • Ability to create financial models • Ability to develop technical plans, written and schematic • Ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, Account Executives, and Project Managers • Ability to approve equipment before ordering • Ability to determine and develop measurements for energy and operational guarantees • Ability to work adequately self-directed in open protocol situations • Full technical understanding of energy and plant/facility operations • Preferred/bonus: ten (10) years’ experience in a construction or energy service related field • Preferred/bonus certifications: CEM, CMVP, any LEED Certification, NEBB TAB, any ASHRAE Certification, Professional License (PE), NCESS Record
