📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical project developer for the Public Sector East team • Understand customer technical needs and translate them into accurate, concrete solutions • Address facility utility consumption analysis, use- and cost-reduction strategies, capital improvements, and community infrastructure projects • Develop technical strategies, project costs, energy-reduction forecasts, and measurement and verification plans • Present findings and solutions to customers and managers • Assist the delivery team with smooth installations and exceptional customer results • Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify mechanical and operating inefficiencies • Analyze utility bills and financials • Coordinate with contractors and provide creative, economical, technically sound solutions • Create written and schematic technical plans communicating solutions and risks • Perform energy savings, operational savings, life-cycle cost, and feasibility analyses • Establish guaranteed savings based on proposed measures • Create financial models based on customer parameters and project results • Coordinate with Account Executives and Project Managers to develop and present customer proposals • Act as the technical communication link between operations and sales teams • Identify and work with subcontractors and consultants on technical analyses and installation descriptions • Approve equipment before ordering to ensure accurate estimates and on-time delivery • Develop measurements to verify energy and operational guarantees • Keep current with technologies, regional legislation, contractors, suppliers, seminars, and conferences • Serve as the ongoing technical resource consultant for customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent • Three (3) to eight (8) years’ experience in a construction or energy service related field • Frequent travel of approximately 25%-50%, including overnight stays • Must be capable of being adequately self-directed • Professional knowledge of energy and plant/facility operations • A bonus to have: Ten (10) years’ experience in a construction or energy service related field • A bonus to have: CEM certification • A bonus to have: CMVP certification • A bonus to have: Any LEED Certification • A bonus to have: NEBB TAB certification • A bonus to have: Any ASHRAE Certification • A bonus to have: Professional License (PE) • A bonus to have: NCESS Record
