📋 Description

• Lead strategic client engagements focused on mainframe optimization, program delivery, and pre-sales solutioning. • Advise clients on mainframe optimization, modernization, and transformation initiatives. • Lead end-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder management across concurrent engagements. • Provide project and program management for project delivery. • Contribute to solution design, scoping, proposal development, and client presentations during pre-sales. • Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and forecasts using Jira, Asana, MS Project, and Smartsheet. • Coordinate installation, testing, and implementation of mainframe systems and software. • Drive automation, cost optimization, performance tuning, and continuous improvement across z/OS, tape management, scheduling, security, and monitoring environments. • Translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders. • Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned. • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing and thought leadership. • Ensure compliance with technical standards, best practices, and client requirements. • Supervise groups of projects and align execution with long-term business objectives. • Build client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor and customer advocate. • Confirm business requirements, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables with clients. • Manage communications among Ensono, clients, vendors, and suppliers. • Define program governance, interpret contractual deliverables, and confirm executable delivery structures. • Guide project teams, resolve issues, and manage cross-functional programs. • Build and manage program P&L models; analyze revenue, profitability, project financial performance, billing, and accounts receivable issues. • Track milestones, deliverables, scope, scope creep, change control, risks, priorities, and concerns. • Lead status meetings and produce monthly and quarterly reporting on deliverables and program performance. • Coordinate stakeholder meetings and identify new business opportunities within existing client programs.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, program management, or enterprise IT delivery. • Deep understanding of mainframe technologies and operations (z/OS, scheduling tools, tape management, etc.). • Proven experience leading large-scale optimization or transformation programs. • Strong background in client engagement, solutioning, and pre-sales support. • Proficiency with project and program management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet). • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Experience in managed services or hybrid IT environments. • Familiarity with cloud integration and modernization strategies for legacy systems. • Familiarity with the operational aspects of delivering complex hosting and IP services. • A combination of consulting and operational experience. • PMP or Agile certification is a plus; PMP certification is listed as a bonus qualification.
