• Prepare and submit permit applications for city, county, TXDOT, railroad, pole, and right-of-way agencies using data provided by field crews • Coordinate with municipalities, contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to support project scope and permitting requirements • Conduct site and field data reviews to support feasibility of network installations and service routes • Research and apply applicable regulations, including NESC and jurisdictional permitting standards • Review maps, utility records, and field data to verify accuracy of submitted applications and SOW packages • Track permit status, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with client-specific standards and SLAs • Support network planning activities including basic capacity review, infrastructure needs, and expansion considerations
• High school diploma or equivalent • 3+ years of experience in telecommunications, utility, construction, engineering, or electrical environments • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation tracking • Basic understanding of CAD drafting software is a plus • Experience working with right-of-way, easements, and jurisdictional agencies • Strong understanding of municipal permitting processes and utility infrastructure projects
