📋 Description

• Process and properly code vendor invoices • Review bills for completeness, accuracy, and authority • Enter and maintain accounts payable data in the accounting system • Pay vendors according to corporate policies • Reconcile vendor statements • Resolve disputes • Provide administrative support, reporting, and reconciliations to the financial team • Support cost reporting and employee reimbursements as appropriate • Contact vendors regarding invoicing and payment status • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting functions • Maintain orderly electronic files for correspondence, bills, and payments • Keep commercial and financial information confidential • Report unusual transactions and irregularities • Implement company financial policies, procedures, and controls • Collaborate with clients in the public sector for a developing IT company

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable or any finance related area • Knowledge of the basics of accounting • ERP or accounting system experience • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets • Well organized • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Capacity to multitask and manage deadlines and priorities • Self-starter, working remotely • Ability to handle accurate and private financial information • Experience in a SaaS or tech company • Experience with cloud-based accounting system and accounts payable automation • Higher education in accounting, finance, business or similar • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
