📋 Description

• Support the Cyber Security Framework • Enhance the security program across security monitoring, vulnerability management, protection and detection technologies, and threat intelligence • Assist in developing strategy and defining departmental goals and objectives for the cybersecurity program • Validate security program maturity through repeatable processes and metrics • Respond to and investigate complex cybersecurity events and incidents • Analyze log information to correlate security events • Detect, analyze, track, and guide remediation of complex security vulnerabilities • Research emerging threats and implement or lead implementation of preventive controls • Support, maintain, and enhance protection and detection security technologies • Develop and execute security technology improvement plans • Guide business owners on implementing security controls for organizational programs • Oversee creation and delivery of security metrics and provide technical analysis on performance and trends • Investigate and recommend new technologies supporting security operations • Act as subject matter expert for team analysts and assist with escalated issues • Create internal security department documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University required • 4 years of work related experience required • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks • Experience managing, supporting, and implementing protection and detection technologies such as endpoint protection, email/web/network firewall, vulnerability scanning and SIEM platforms • CISSP, CISM, CEH or similar for at least 3 years, required • Available for on-call as needed • Ability to adapt and work in a rapidly changing environment • Ability to relate security practices to business objectives • Tactical techniques, communication and collaboration skills • Must satisfy employment eligibility verification through E-Verify
