📋 Description

• Provide customer service excellence and partner with operations teams regarding collection issues • Review and process account adjustments, short payments, overpayments, refunds and credit memos • Monitor and maintain assigned customer accounts and reduce delinquency • Support customer communications and payment status through customer portals • Research invoice non-payment root causes and maintain supporting documentation • Collaborate with program managers, account administrators, accounting, operations and senior management to resolve collection issues • Ensure purchase orders are obtained, documented and reflected on customer bills • Research and collect unauthorized credits and apply payments lacking remittance information • Maintain customer billing and invoice portal processing contact information • Participate in collections business initiatives such as customer portal automations • Lead and participate in customer calls • Enter aging data into IS2 • Verify invoices were properly submitted • Perform additional duties supporting Accounts Receivable and Operations teams

🎯 Requirements

• High School or Equivalent required • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business or another related field beneficial (preferred) • 3+ years of experience with Customer Service, Collections, or Business Administration preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers • Experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment • Ability to navigate independently in the proprietary IS2 order entry/billing system • Previous IS2 experience preferred but not required • Understanding of Envita Solutions’ business model and the waste management industry, with ability to learn customer accounts quickly • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Strong attention to detail and superior time management skills • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function • Ability to work independently, take initiative and self-direct
