• Acquire new customers within a defined geographic territory • Serve as ePac's face in the local market by building relationships and closing new business • Establish and grow ePac's regional footprint through new-logo acquisition • Manage acquired accounts for one year before transitioning them to an Account Manager • Utilize the lead generation team to support sales growth • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, closing, and customer handoff • Develop and execute territory plans focused on acquiring new mid-market customers and expanding existing accounts • Build and manage a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, trade shows, and in-person meetings • Conduct customer discovery meetings and present tailored packaging solutions • Negotiate contracts and close new business • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers • Create and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue, retention, and profitability • Partner cross-functionally to identify cross-selling opportunities and provide customer support • Resolve product quality, service, and account-management issues by coordinating internal resources • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities • Maintain customer records, pipeline activity, and forecasts in Salesforce • Prepare customer pricing and estimates using ePac's quoting tools • Represent ePac at trade shows, customer events, and industry networking opportunities • Achieve pipeline, new-business, and revenue-growth objectives while driving customer satisfaction • Participate in partnership and problem-solving sessions and product-line trials
• Applicants must currently reside in the NY / NJ area • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory • Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects while maintaining attention to detail • Effective organizational, problem solving and analytical skills • Exceptional negotiation skills • Clear communication • Excellent time management skills in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment • 3-5 years of experience in a B2B field sales or new business development role • Consistent record of achieving sales targets • Results-oriented hunting sales skills • Strong hunter drive and passion for prospecting and closing new business • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and trust in person • Self-motivated and disciplined, with ability to manage time and territory effectively • CPG industry knowledge preferable • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred
